Teens grades 6 through 12 are welcome to join teen librarian Chloë for an afternoon of creative exploration in the large conference room at Gresham. The Rockwood makerspace will be bringing a small collection of creative tools — make a vinyl sticker, sew a pillow, play with electronics. It’s your choice! What is STEAM? It stands for Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

K-12 Virtual Tutoring / Tutoría Virtual

Virtual Tutoring is for students in grades K-12 who need support in language arts, math, science or social studies. 

We offer three terms a year, each running for 8 weeks.

The student’s weekly appointment will be for 30 minutes on Tuesdays, sometime between 4 and 6 pm. They will be assigned an exact timeslot and tutor prior to the start of the term. These remain the same for the entire term.

Learn to make your own beaded flower keychain in this workshop with Diana Gaspar-Sanchez of Bella Beads! Participants will use colorful seed beads, needles, and thread to create a keychain using one of two designs. Teens (grades 6-12) are welcome to sign up!
