Internships

Multnomah County Library offers a limited number of internships when requested. Qualifications vary by internship, but generally, interns must be a current student in a library/information science program or related discipline and pass a criminal records check. To obtain an internship with MCL:

Job Shadowing

As business needs permit, and on a limited basis, Multnomah County Library may grant requests for job shadowing by students enrolled in a library program and prospective library students. Individuals interested in requesting a job shadowing experience should fill out this form for consideration.
