About Gresham Library

Built in 1990 and renovated in 1998, today's Gresham Library replaced a brick Carnegie that had become far too small for Oregon's fourth largest city. Read more about Gresham Library history. The library serves residents of Gresham, Troutdale, Wood Village, Fairview, Corbett and other East County communities.

Multnomah County Library's systemwide catalog — two million books, periodicals, music, movies and more — serves patrons of Gresham Library and all neighborhood libraries. Gresham also houses collections of materials in Spanish and Russian, and has Spanish- and Russian-speaking staff. Gresham is the only branch that offers the Gresham Outlook and The Oregonian on microfilm. Patrons enjoy e-books and downloadable music; research and reading resources; and library events and services, including those especially for kids and teens.

Gresham's meeting rooms are available at no charge for community meetings and events on a first-come, first-served basis. The large room has a 74-person capacity; the storytime room, 20.
