About Rockwood Library

Rockwood Library has been serving east Multnomah County since its construction in 1963. The building was renovated in 1999. Read more about Rockwood Library history.

Multnomah County Library's systemwide catalog — two million books, periodicals, music, movies and more — serves patrons of Rockwood Library and all neighborhood libraries. Rockwood also houses a collection of materials in Russian, and has Russian-speaking staff. Patrons enjoy e-books and downloadable music; research and reading resources; and library events and services, including those especially for kids and teens.

Rockwood's meeting room is available at no charge for community meetings and events on a first-come, first-served basis. It has a 30-person capacity.
