The following magazines and journals are available in several formats:

  1. All are available in paper at the Central Library in the Periodicals Room (2nd floor), or
  2. Some are available through one of the full-text databases the library subscribes to. To find out if a magazine is available this way, go to Serials Solutions and look for the magazine by title.
  3. Click on the Web address to connect to the publisher's Web site, which may contain archives of articles

Business Opportunities Journal (Periodicals Room)
Specializes in franchising and business opportunities in the US.
Entrepreneur
Provides information on running a small business. This is the leading source of information about the issues and pitfalls of entrepreneurship. Hot new business ideas, profiles of success and failures, and specific aspects of starting, growing, and managing a business are included in each issue. Columns in each issue cover national and global news, women, and travel. Departments report on technology, money, management, marketing, and general business news. Each issue contains ideas for businesses, letters, book reviews, and contacts. Up to ten feature articles look at a variety of businesses and business issues such as business image, top home-based franchises, and taking a business international.
