Zines Go to School
Zine workshops for grades 6-12.
Bring zines into your classroom! Zine librarians cover a quick history of zines (self-published magazines) and share zine-making techniques — then students go to work writing, cutting and pasting up a master copy of their zine.
We provide supplies. Schools provide access to a photocopier if copies of the zines are desired. Please book at least two weeks in advance and plan for a one-hour minimum workshop. This program is offered on a limited basis, subject to staff availability. To schedule a workshop, call 503.988.6012.
