Borrow items
You may borrow books, videotapes, DVDs, music and spoken CDs, audio tapes, magazines, software products and other items.
The library offers multimedia items for use at your discretion and does not assume any responsibility for damages that may result to personal equipment.
Borrowing limits
You may borrow up to a total of 150 items at one time. However, you may check out 15 DVDs at one time. You may also check out 15 music CDs and 15 other CDs at one time.
Loan periods
You may check out most library materials for 21 days. When you check out items, you will receive a list of the items and when they are due. You may obtain another copy of this list in person visit the Circulation Desk at any library location
Return borrowed items to any Multnomah County Library location. All libraries have book drops, and materials can be returned seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
Note: Automated Renewal Line services are available 24 hours a day. To speak with a staff person, call during Central Library's operating hours.
