Join us for a special Juneteenth storytime. Stay for a craft activity and a snack! Featuring this storytime in the morning and Makola Performing Arts at 2 pm. Make a day of Juneteenth with us!

El programa de Educación para Adultos ofrece cursos básicos gratuitos de: Alfabetización para adultos Certificado de escuela primaria y secundaria de México en el consulado mexicano Preparación y tutoría para el GED en español.

Toddlers (with a favorite adult) enjoy interactive stories, songs and games that encourage their emerging language skills. Attendance is limited and free tickets are available 15 minutes before storytime.

Join other Rainbow families in a fun playtime at the library with books, toys, music, and all the room you need to learn through play in a positive, affirming environment. As Mr. Rogers said, "... for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

Meet one-on-one with a friendly, knowledgeable Tech Helper who will help you find answers to questions about mobile devices, websites, getting started with tech, and more.

Appointments are on a first come, first served basis.

Children from birth to age 6 (with a favorite adult) enjoy books, songs, rhymes and movement activities while building language and literacy skills. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Come tour the newly built East County Library Creative Learning Room. Learn about the Creative Learning equipment and activities. 

The creative learning equipment will be unavailable for use during this tour.

While our storytimes are on break, join other families for a fun playtime (for ages birth - 1) with board books, toys, music, and all the room your baby needs to learn through play. As Mr. Rogers said, "... for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

Babies from birth to 12 months (with a favorite adult) enjoy songs, action rhymes, and playtime, with bonus socialization for babies and the adults. Attendance is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Join us for a 45 minutes walking tour through the building.  No registration required. 

Join us for a fun and imaginative LEGO building session. We'll provide the building blocks, you bring the creativity! Ideal for grades K-5, but younger and older siblings are welcome.

Practique inglés o español y ayude a los demás que están aprendiendo en un ambiente amable. Los participantes hablan la mitad del tiempo en inglés y la otra en español. Están bienvenidos los principiantes.

Practice English or Spanish and help other learners in a friendly atmosphere. Participants speak half the time in English and half in Spanish. Beginners welcome.
