Squirm Like a Bookworm

Performer Cinda Tilgner presents an early word recognition performance for shapes, colors, numbers and nursery rhymes. She incorporates scarves, instruments, clap, tap, hop, crawl and dance to increase physical activity, balance and strength.

Hug a Bug: Music for Tots

The Red Boot Duo combines guitar, harmonica, oboe and more while toddlers and parents help hold the beat with shakers and other rhythm instruments. Scarf-waving and bubble blowing add flavor to the program. Lots of audience participation.

Don't Bug Me ... I'm Reading!

Join award-winning performer, songwriter and educator Greta Pedersen for a lively and interactive sing-along. It includes songs in American Sign Language, accompaniment on guitar and mountain dulcimer, and a fascinating variety of percussion instruments (including fruits and vegetables!) which selected audiences members will play.

Peanut Butter and Celery Sticks

Paul's got a problem — his favorite snack attracts ants, flies and cockroaches. How will he get rid of them? Come hear his surprising solution, along with other stories and songs for the whole family presented by Rick Huddle.

Get the Reading Bug!

Crawl or buzz your way to the library and join Anne-Louise as she sings and tells stories that once again prove the link between singing, storytelling and childhood literacy. Not only that, it's a lot of fun to sing and tell stories about the thousands of bugs that are buzzing, crawling or flying along with us on the planet. So many different shapes, colors, sizes and sounds to entertain us!
