Write What You Know (And Make Art About It, Too!)
What are you passionate about? Why are these things important to you and how do they shape who you are? In what ways can you share your gifts with others? Learn how to express your ideas through creative writing and mixed media art. Professor and novelist Jan Underwood and heirloom artist Lisa Kagan will help you put your passions on paper, using the work of celebrated author Matt de la Peña as inspiration. Refreshments will be served. Optional: Bring a photograph of yourself to include in your art project.
