Celebrate Kwanzaa
Monday, December 28, 45:30 p.m.
Kwanzaa is an African American celebration centered around seven principles known as Nguzo Sabo:
- Umoja (Unity)
- Kujichagulia (Self-Determination)
- Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility)
- Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics)
- Nia (Purpose)
- Kuumba (Creativity)
- Imani (Faith)
The Celebration of Ujima
Join us as we celebrate the third principle. During Kwanzaa, the community is encouraged to consider the principles of collective work and responsibility and to find ways to apply them throughout the new year.
