Celebrate Kwanzaa

Tuesday, December 27, 6-7:30 p.m.
Kwanzaa is an African American celebration centered around seven principles known as Nguzo Sabo:
- Umoja (Unity)
- Kujichagulia (Self-Determination)
- Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility)
- Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics)
- Nia (Purpose)
- Kuumba (Creativity)
- Imani (Faith)
The Celebration of Kujichagulia
Join us as we celebrate the second principle. A special presentation by Passin Art: A Theater Company will highlight the evening. During Kwanzaa, the community is encouraged to consider the seven principles and to find ways to apply them throughout the new year.
