Raven Steals the Sun

American Indian Symbols and Mask Making

Learn about Northwest Coast Native American culture through masks. Create your own masks while artist Maranee Sanders tells stories and shares symbolism.

Walking the Blue Corn Road

Learn about planting and cooking with blue corn, and sample tasty blue corn snacks. Author and historian Jean Johnson will also share stories and lessons from her 10 years living with the Hopi and Navajo during the 1980s. For ages 10 through adult.

The Beginnings of the Kalapuya People

Storyteller and history keeper Esther Stutzman is Coos and Komemma Kalapuya and is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz. Join Esther as she shares her family's legends about the beginnings of the Kalapuya tribe of the Willamette Valley.
