- Beverly Cleary Children's Choice Award
- The Beverly Cleary Children's Choice Award is given to a book written for the second and third grade reading level. Children of all ages may vote for their favorite from a list of nominated books.

- The Coretta Scott King award honors African American authors and illustrators for outstanding inspirational and educational contributions in children's literature.
- Awarded annually by the American Library Association
- Belpré Award
- The Pura Belpré Medal honors a Latino/Latina writer and illustrator whose works best portray, affirm, and celebrate the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth.
- Awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, and the National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish Speaking (REFORMA), an ALA affiliate
- Robert F. Sibert Medal
- Robert F. Sibert Medal honors the author(s) and illustrator(s) of the most distinguished informational book published in English during the preceding year.

- The ALSC/Booklist/YALSA Odyssey Award for Excellence in Audiobook Production is given to the producer of the best audiobook produced for children and/or young adults, available in English in the United States.
