MEET THE ARTIST 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Gresham Library Robert Sabuda shares insight into his pop-up and picture book creations. A book sale and signing follows. 2 - 4 p.m., Central Library ABOUT ROBERT SABUDA
This sense of childhood wonder is still reflected in Sabuda's best-selling work. Sabuda's books, which include -- Wonderful Wizard of Oz: A Commemorative Pop-up (2000); Cookie Count: A Tasty Pop-up (1997); and his latest pop-up treasure Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (2003) -- feature magical visual effects that stimulate the imagination of children and adults alike. Robert Sabuda currently works in his New York studio that he shares with his partner, children's book creator Matthew Reinhart.
