Commissioner Roberts announces public meeting for library siting

PORTLAND, OR – Commissioner Lonnie Roberts announces a public meeting for soliciting input on potential sites for the new Troutdale Library. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 24, at 7 p.m., at the Troutdale City Conference Center, 223 S. Buxton.
Multnomah County Library is in the process of siting a new library in the Troutdale area. Currently, seven sites are under preliminary consideration, including several that had been under consideration during the previous siting process.
Members of the public are invited to hear a brief presentation on each of the sites, and to provide input to Commissioner Roberts. The Board of County Commissioners will make the decision about the site of the new library.
