Biographies are searchable by name, profession, title, place of origin, date of death, keyword and presence of images. Obituaries are brief around 750 words with overviews of the lives and careers of people profiled previously in Current Biography.

Many are enhanced by full text, abstracts and citations from Wilson databases as well as more that 100 volumes of reference books published by Wilson such as Current Biography, World Author series, Nobel Prize winners, World Artists, World Film directors, and American Reformers.
