The American Composers Alliance is a membership organization serving over 200 professional American composers of concert music. The ACA was founded in 1937 by Aaron Copland. ACA will publish any work submitted by a member of ACA, and the composer retains the copyright. ACA's collection of master scores and parts is now housed at the University of Maryland Performing Arts Library.
