Educator Extravaganza
Educators, discover how using Multnomah County Library can save you time! Attend a library-sponsored event (see below) or schedule one at your school.
- Get a sneak preview of the new library catalog, which can send you alerts about new items of interest or remind you when to return materials.
- Find out how to request book collections or get multiple copies of items to use with your students.
- Learn about online resources (such as online encyclopedias and tutoring) for you and your students.
- Bring proof of educator status and apply for an educator library card, which allows you to request more items and check them out for a longer period.
- Refreshments will be served.
When and Where:
The Educator Extravaganzas are over for this year. However, School Corps staff are available to present the workshops at inservice days or other district/school events if at least 10 people are in attendance. To arrange to have a workshop at your site, contact the School Corps Lead Worker at lib.school.corps@multcolib.org or 503.988.6004.
You may be able to obtain in-service credit for attending this workshop; ask School Corps for details.
