Class topics include basic computer skills, e-mail, effective web searching , word processing, spreadsheets and basic research skills.

CustomGuide Learn on Demand, offers quick reference guides to nearly 100 software applications.
EduMax, free tutorials for Microsoft office software, computer programming, computer basics, database basics, web development, internet business and personal development.
GCF Global Learning tutorials cover a lot and are in Spanish as well as English. These are good options for learning computer basics, internet basics, and Microsoft Office software. You do have to register to go beyond the first tutorial but they are still free.
Good Typing tutorial is one of the best we've found for learning typing skills. You need an e-mail address to log in.
W3 Schools is a good site for beginners wanting to learn HTML, the language used in making web pages.
Web Monkey is great for more advanced HTML topics, they do cover HTML basics too.

Portland Parks & Recreation offers several introductory computer classes on using the web and Microsoft office as well as general computer literacy.
