Congratulations Summer Readers!
Over 95,000 babies, kids and teens participated in the 2011 program. That's more than 50 percent of all youth in Multnomah County!
Congratulations, 2011 Winners!
The Grand Prize winner this year is Jacob, a first grader who uses the Gresham Library. He receives a family trip for four to Great Wolf Lodge Water Park!
The Preschool Runner-Up Prize goes to Shane, a 3-year-old who uses the Hillsdale Library. Shane wins a party for 10 at the Portland Children's Museum.
The Kids Runner-Up Prizes go to Lydia, a first grader who uses the Hollywood Library. She will receive a bike, helmet and lock from Bike Gallery.
The Teen Runner-Up Prize winner this year is Adiel, an eighth-grade student at Centennial Middle School, who uses the Rockwood Library. He receives a $250 shopping spree.
