John Green: Paper Towns

I read this in one sitting. It was amazing. It was funny, exciting and very thoughtful. It's about a boy named Q who tries to find the girl he's in love with after she runs away. It was a great read and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Donna Tartt: The Little Friend

One of the most intriguing books I've ever read. It's a girl named, Harriet, and she's trying to find out who killed her brother. She encounters all sorts of 'problems'. The book is lengthy but it's a really good book. Once you start reading it you won't want to put it down, but it's just my opinion.

Pittacus Lore: I AM NUMBER FOUR

this book was AWESOME!!!! it is about an alian that goes to earth becuase some evil alians destroyed their planet....well i cant really explain it but i would recomend it to every one on earth!! like i said it is a super good book:)if you like adventure then this is the perfect book for you:)

Ellen Hopkins: Crank

Written in verse, this book is easy to read and very enjoyable. At times it can be graphic, but as we follow the story of Kristina, the bluntness gives a brutal inside look at what she is dealing with. I think that Ellen Hopkins is an amazing author, and I can't wait to read some of her other novels. Overall, I recommend it to anyone is search of a good read, as long as they can handle harsh language and a few hard-core scenes.

This novel is a fusion of regular life (social and all!) of a law-school graduate, crime, startling truths, and an investigation. In this book, Higgins Clark connects you with tons of characters, although you don't feel overwhelmed. Introduce yourself to Mack, his sudden disappearance, and his yearly Mother's day calls. David Baldacci: The Whole Truth

This mysterious, action-packed, spell-binding tale is one that teens cannot miss! There is always another twist, another turn, around the corner that will keep you, and whoever reads it, on the edge of their seat. With exemplary descriptions, and a can't-put-down make, David Baldacci will surely get on your good side with this book! I would definitely give this book 4.5 - 5 stars out of 5. A must-read!

Weirdest book ever!! But after I was done with it i realized it is a really good book and that I really enjoyed reading it.It has roots from the book The strange case of Dr.Jekyl and Mr. Hyde.According to Beth (author) the story was true and about a hundred yeaars later the decendants of this two families,Jill Jekel and Tristen Hyde, Meet and try to cure the Hydes from the "curse" caused by Dr. Jekyll and his formula more then 100 years ago.Jill and Tristen end up falling in love and together they fix the "curse"

Stephanie Perkins: Anna and the French Kiss

Awesome book! It takes place in Paris, a 17 year old Anna is forced o study abroad a highschool in Paris. There she meets Meredith, Rashmi, Josh and Etienne St. Clair!(a gorgeous guy). Unfortunately St. clair has a girlfriend, Ellie, but everything changes between Anna and Etienne with a french kiss!!

Garth Stein: The Art of Racing in the Rain

I love this book. I love Enzo and the family, and all of the hardships and joys they go through together. Garth Stein is a really good writer; he's really good at using automobile racing as symbolism for the story. This is an adult book but I would recommend it almost any teen.

A version of the sleeping beauty, A kiss in time is about a princess named Talia who has been cursed into a deep sleep with her entire kingdom. Jack an American student in a tour through Europe finds the sleeping kingdom and can't help but kiss Talia. their love is tested by the witch Malvolia but there IS a happ ending!!

I thought this book was heartwarming and sweet. I like Sarah Dessen because her books are realistic, and not everything is all picture perfect in the end.

This book is a story of a girl in the 1940's who is taken away by the Soviet secret police to a prison camp. You will find yourself falling into this moving tale of love, courage and survival. Between Shades of Gray is a book to remember.

Jay Asher: Thirteen Reasons Why

This book made me think a lot about how just meeting someone or saying hi to someone can totally change your life. Hannah was a really weird a mysterious character, and a lot of the stuff that happened to her didn't seem like it was that big of a deal. But when I put it all together, and put it all in context, I understood why.

This book was...hmmm...interesting. Deeply moving story of a girl who just wants to give up, and the people who made that possible.Very...Scary.Scary that it was so easy for her to commit suicide.

This book is pretty chill. I like how real Troy seems, he is a fat kid who starts hanging out with a punk rock god and starts drumming for his band. But Troy keeps it real. If you like music read this book.

J.D. Salinger: Catcher in the Rye

Honestly, I didn't quite know what to make of this book. It goes through this 16 year-old kid who runs away from his snob school, Pencey,since he thinks it's filled with "phonies." This story shows how he's kind of mentally insane, yet his logic is understandable, to a point. It was an interesting book due to its tone.

This series is VERY dramatic. It's about a girl who finds out that she's the princess of Genovia. Mia has to take torturing princess lessons from her Grandma every day. On top of everying,she also has a major crush on her best friend's brother.

This book had alot of suspense. Ellie has an astounding discovery about the dissapearence of her sister Nina and finds that it lies with the one she wants the most. It had a shoking ending and the characters were ones that i could relate with. Super good read.

Suzanne Collins: Catching Fire

I loved this series, and with every fabulous series there has to be a book that builds plot so the next book can really even better.This is one of those books. It is completly intresting but there isn't as much action. Of all the books this one went the slowest because there are things that are uncovered so its alot of talking and solving. The series is great! I would reccomend it to anyone looking for somthing to read.

Jonathan Stroud: The Ring Of Solomon

The Ring of Solomon is an extremely entertaining book, which includes action, humor, and an intriguing storyline. If you've read any of Jonathan Stroud's other Bartimaeus books, The Ring of Solomon takes place long before Nathaniel or Kitty were born. The book follows Asmira, a young woman trying to save her kingdom, and Bartimaeus, the clever and dangerous djinni. Whether you're laughing at Bartimaeus's witty comments, or cheering as demon's heads explode, you will be entertained throughout the entire book. The Ring of Solomon is great for anyone looking for an adventurous, hilarious, or even throught-provoking book, and is well worth a trip to the bookstore. (Or the library! -- librarian note)

CLAMP: tsubasa ( RESEVoir CHRoNiCLE)

This series is manga so you read it right to left. that makes it a little hard to read, but once you figure it out its really great! These books are about a group of travelers who traverse demensions, searching for thier friend sakuras 'feathers'. the feathers are her memorys which have been lost and scatterd across space and time. without them she will die. the four travelers, syaoran, kurogane, fai and sakura (+mokana) must all work together to save sakura and fufill each of thier indavidual wishes.

Suzanne Collins: The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is a book filled with adventure and some violence- but it was a very good read! I would recommend it to almost anyone unless you aren't into adventure books or can't take a little violence. Over all it was a good book.

Rick Riordan: Throne of Fire

Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan is a well-written book. It's the second book in a series where the Ancient Egyptian gods are real and live in our world. The two main characters are teenage magicians who are trying to defeat Apophis, the serpent god of chaos. Rick Riordan does a good job of conveying emotion as well as the personalities of the characters. I could almost hear them talking to me throughout the chapters. I'd recommend this book to anyone, but especially those who like fantasy and adventure.

Jennifer Donnelly: Revolution

Revolution, is a really really great read. I wept like a widow throughout the book. I really liked the main character, Andi, who was so scared and sad, and loved her 18th century counterpart, Alex so much for trying to help the 10 year old dauphin after everyone else gave up.This book Really makes you think about how history is such a large part of our future.

Jenny B. Jones: So Not Happening

It's a good "mystery" book. It's about this girl from New York, living the high life and everthing is perfect until she moves down to Okalahoma with her mom. As she moves down to Okalahoma her world changes and it takes her a while to adjust living there. So much happens when she's in Okalahoma. Soon after she finds her boyfriend (from New York) cheating on her with her best friend (in New York). Just read the book to find out what happens.

Gregory Maguire: Mirror Mirror

I really liked this story. It follows a girl named Bianca, a young Italian girl in 1500s. She has never left the hill on which her house is perched, and her father is sent on a fool's mission.She is left with no mother, her father probably dead, and an evil, vane aristocrat gaurdian.Ouch.This is a fabulous retelling of the reasonably upopular story of Snow White. 5 stars

Octavia Butler: Kindred

Really nice book if you like Science Fiction novels. If you don't pay close attention you can get confused in the story because there's a lot of going back and forth. Such as present, past, present past. Read this book as an assignment in English and it's a really great book. I recommend it to all youth interested in reading Science Fiction novels about time traveling.

Sarah Dessen: Just Listen

This is a good story with a deeply touching plot. There is one thing, though...All of the author's stories are about troubled teens who are moving on from things in their past- confronting themselves,solving issues, etc. So if you do read her books, you may enjoy them better if you didn't read more than three of them, as the plot lines seem to repeat themselves.

this book was one of the best i'd read in a long time. i say that alot but this time i mean it! the people in it seem so real, everytime anything horrible happened, i started clenching my fists. hard. the people are so funny and i can totally relate to them. sophie has been put under a terrible curse by the evil witch of the waste! the only person who can help her is wizard howl, who is rumored to eat the hearts of young girls and devour their souls. the book is also a movie but they couldnt be more different! read the book first!

Bring Me The Horizon: There Is A Hell Believe Me I've Seen It; There Is A Heaven Let's Keep It A Secret

Awesome Album you have to pick up and listen to. Every song has it's own meaning and they are all very personal with the singer himself. The genre of music they play may not be your type of music, but if you take a listen and read the lyrics that goes with each song, you'll find it very powerful and meaningful in a way you never thought of. I've listened to this album over and over again on repeat. Pick it up and take a listen, you won't regret listening to it. (Unless you like to judge BRING ME THE HORIZON's music. Then you don't have to listen to it. But criticize all you want, they have great music!!)

This book is about a girl named Tamar who follows a series of clues left to her by her grandfather to uncover a deep, dark, family secret. The story flips from 1945 to 1955, telling both the story of Tamar's grandfather during WWII, and of Tamar herself. I really liked this book because it is good representation of historical fiction, and it reveals portions of the war that we don't usually hear of. Although I listened to this book, (narrated by Anton Lesser and Anna Maxwell Martin) I'm sure that it would be great in any form. Please read-or listen to- TAMAR!

This CD is amazing! In its own special way... It isn't as raw and powerful as some of the band's past CDs, but it gets the message across. Medicate, Beautiful Thieves, & Too Shy To Scream are my three top favorite songs on the album. Definitely check out AFI if you're into alternative rock. Or even if you're not! Great story, me and my best friend's favorite all time book, and is a little lengthy with 297 pages, but very fast-seeming. Megan (Dallas, TX) is accepted to work at Thrill Ride! amusement park, for a summer, in Michigan. She leaves her wedding-planning family and Nick; boyfriend of three months,to meet people and earn some cash on the side. Megan quickly discoveres long distance relationships are difficult. And, on the side, she meets Parker,(Los Angeles,CA)her roomie, Jordan's (Los Angels,CA) older brother. Her feelings for Nick, Parker and what she wants are listed in PROs and CONs throughout the book, and leads a story that is truly a roller coaster of love.

Told in a unique, modern voice, The Opposite of Music is a story of sadness, frustration, courage, and hope as it follows Billy Morrison through his life as he tries to help his depressed father. Mr. Morrison is a distant, quiet form of what he used to be. Billy used to think he was the coolest dad, one who would always be there for him. But now, his father has changed. In fact, Billy and his sister Linda hardly know his father anymore. The man's delayed responses, hesitance to eat, and withdrawn nature prompts Billy's mother to take him to a psychiatrist, who only concretes their suspicions by diagnosing him with depression. Billy, his mother, and his sister all do their best to help out Mr. Morrison, trying to figure out what it is exactly that is causing him to be depressed. They feign ease and positive attitudes when someone stops by for a visit, but are really weighed down with the burden of trying to get rid of the depression once and for all.
