Creative Learning: Laser Cut a Magnet with a Glowforge
Design, cut, and decorate a custom magnet using a laser cutter and other art supplies. All materials will provided.
To attend this program, you need to have basic computer skills and know how to use a computer with a mouse. Children in grades 5 and under must be accompanied by an attentive teen or adult.

Teen drop-in: Get creative at the makerspace!
Calling all teens in grades 6-12! Come make something cool, learn a new skill, and meet friendly people in this teen-focused creative space. Makerspace staff and volunteers will teach you how to use our tech equipment to design things and express yourself. Project examples include 3D printers, craft cutters, sewing machines, custom t shirts and tote bags, tons of art supplies for painting, jewelry making, and more.
Goblins, Robots and Truth: RPGs for Teens
If you are interested in exploring the world of Role Playing Games (RPGs), come to a “one-shot” session to learn and have fun with ALife! A one-shot is a roleplaying game session designed to offer an engaging play experience and tell a satisfying story within a single sitting.

Learn about herbs and essential oils that soothe and relax the body, mind and soul. We will make bath bombs, a soothing muscle soak for the bath, and a rejuvenating scrub.

Introduction to Video Game Design
In this comprehensive program, participants will learn to create a playable game from scratch using the industry-standard Unity game engine. You will master Unity fundamentals, unlock the power of C# programming, develop your own 2D platformer, unleash your artistic side with character design, and compose your game's theme song.

Read to the Dogs
Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a therapy dog. The dogs and handlers are from Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Dove Lewis Portland Area Canine Therapy Teams, Paws for Love, and Pet Partners®.
Level UP Lounge
The ultimate after-school hangout for teens and pre-teens (ages 13-17)! Kick back with your friends, get creative, or just chill. We've got comfy spots, board games, art supplies, quiet study zones, and all the video games you could want. It's the perfect spot to meet new people, try cool stuff, and de-stress after school.
Community Music Center Violin Lessons
Learn to play the violin in a welcoming environment! Open to ages 8 and up, this program lets you explore the instrument with guidance from a dedicated instructor.
